About Me
Hello! My name is Kellen Jenkins. I am a year 2 student from Chemeketa Community College and I am an inspired photographer. Deep down I love to learn and explore what the world has to offer. I have many deep rooted passions of mine like weight lifting, music, nature, animals, Buddhism, drag and more. I like to embrace these passions in my photography as art and human expression and is one of my favorite things to do. I love to support my community and be involved in making a difference for the people I care about.
Artist Statement
I draw my inspirations for photography/art from music, nature, dreams and things I'm passionate about. I love art that makes you feel something and I really strive to capture that. In essence I feel that art is the most definitive thing that defines us as humans and it's amazing what happens when you embrace it. Embrace your flaws and the things that define you or what you care about. It's what makes me human.
I am well versed in many forms of art creation: Graphic design, 2d and 3d animation, video creation, digital collage and advanced photo composition. I love to explore aspects of production art. Art is this priceless connection that all of us humans share. I believe that all humans should create art in some way and we should really focus on creating rather than judging. Go out and do something ambitious.
